Hi,

I have set kernel.grsecurity.dmesg to 0 in /etc/sysctl.d/grsec.conf,
and can confirm that it is set to 0 in /proc/sys/kernel/grsecurity/dmesg.

But a non-root user still can't access the kernel log:
$ dmesg
dmesg: read kernel buffer failed: Operation not permitted

Shouldn't it be enough to change this value?

Regards,
 Reiner
