Package: libfile-mimeinfo-perl
Severity: normal

The mimeopen utility attempts to save the default applications into
~/.local/share/applications/ so that next time it is run it doesn't ask
for a preferred application anymore.

The problem is that if the directory doesn't exist, it just fails
instead of creating the directory using something like:
  mkdir -p ~/.local/share/applications/
