I've noticed that there is a new upstream release for python-formencode which also supports python3: it would be useful to have it in Debian. >From the release notes[1], I notice a few backward incompatibilites, but they shouldn't introduce problems: they dropped support for old python version that are no longer in debian and changed a dependency from python-dns to dnspython, which if I'm not mistaken is already in debian (python(3)-dnspython).
