Package: f-spot Version: 0.1.5-1 Severity: normal The row of tags displayed under a picture un Navigate mode is not the same as the one that's displayed in Edit mode. From browsing through the code (IconView.cs, around line 880), it seems this is a consequence of the artificial (and now thankfully historic) difference between tags and categories. Some of my tags started their life as categories, and apparently F-Spot hasn't forgotten that. Visible consequence: in edit mode, the icon is always correct, but in Navigate, I see the icon for a parent tag (actually, a grandparent or even further up the hierarchy).
Now that the distinction has been removed, I suggest replacing the code at IconView.cs:880 with an invocation of the TagView class. Added bonus: less duplication of code. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.15 Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages f-spot depends on: ii libc6 2.3.5-11 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libdbus-cil 0.23.4-8 CLI binding for D-BUS interprocess ii libexif12 0.6.12-2 library to parse EXIF files ii libgconf2.0-cil 2.4.0-1 CLI binding for GConf 2.6 ii libglade2.0-cil 2.4.0-1 CLI binding for the Glade librarie ii libglib2.0-0 2.8.5-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libglib2.0-cil 2.4.0-1 CLI binding for the GLib utility l ii libgnome2.0-cil 2.4.0-1 CLI binding for GNOME 2.6 ii libgnomeui-0 2.12.0-2 The GNOME 2 libraries (User Interf ii libgnomevfs2-0 2.12.2-3 The GNOME virtual file-system libr ii libgphoto2-2 2.1.6-6 gphoto2 digital camera library ii libgtk2.0-0 2.8.9-2 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libgtk2.0-cil 2.4.0-1 CLI binding for the GTK+ toolkit 2 ii libjpeg62 6b-11 The Independent JPEG Group's JPEG ii liblcms1 1.13-1 Color management library ii libmono0 1.1.12.1-1 libraries for the Mono JIT ii libsqlite0 2.8.16-1 SQLite shared library ii mono-classlib-1.0 1.1.12.1-1 Mono class library (1.0) ii mono-jit 1.1.12.1-1 fast CLI (.NET) JIT compiler for M f-spot recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
