this message comes from the desktop environment and isn't Icedove
specific.

Without a backtrace it's not possible to analyze what's going wrong, so
please install the Icedove package with debug symbols and run Icedove
within the GNU debugger.

If Icedove isn't crashing anymore you can open the JS console (Ctrl +
Shif + J) and look around what Javascript components is provoking
errors.

But I have.
So probably there is something fishy, I assume this plugin isn't
packaged for Debian. I could't find a package.

working well, the question is why.

You have a lot of packages installed that are unusual in that
combination. At least myspell and hunspell packages in parallel.
