Sorry for not responding earlier, seems I have overlooked this bug
report in the multiple bugs of xfig. I'll try to do better in the
future...
Anyway, I just tried to reproduce your problem with the old
3.2.5-rel-2 as well as with the current 3.2.5.c-8, but I cannot
reproduce the issue.
Maybe I'm doing something a different way than you, for 3) I use the
edit-button, which opens an edit panel.
There I select "Fill style: filled" and after this play with the
"Fill intensity %" value. Then I press "Apply" and the rectangle is
filled with the given intensity value, but no segfault...
Please check, whether you can still reproduce this issue or whether we
can close the bug report.
