In MySQL 5.7 the libmysqld-pic package is no longer included and all dependencies on it should be changed to libmysqld-dev.
The build-dependency on mysql-server-core-5.6 | mysql-server-core also doesn't work as intended, as the mysql-server-core package was removed in 5.6. It should probably be changed to mysql-server-core-5.6 | virtual-mysql-server-core. -- Lars
