Please consider mounting /dev/pts in multi-instance mode[0]. This involves: - mounting /dev/pts with options newinstance and ptmxmode=0666; - making /dev/ptmx a symlink to pts/ptmx. This is required to be able to safely use devpts multi-instance mode in containers: otherwise, should a container be able to mount a new devpts, it would gain access to the initial kernel mount (the “host's” /dev/pts).
