IMO adding -a optimal makes no sense, since setup_storage always specifies the exact start and end sector when creating partitions. Does parted change (optimizes) the start and end of a partition when exact sectors are specified?
I always use "align-at:1M" in my disk_config files when using SSD in my computers. -- regards Thomas
