ok, I'm building mpd withouth smb support on hurd-i386 in the upcoming 0.19.13-1 upload; but can you comment on the long-term perspective of samba on hurd, is this a workaround that I should remove at some point in time, and is there a trigger (like a bug to watch) so I'll know when that time has come?
