Source: fglrx-driver Version: 1:15.12-2 Severity: normal Hi,
/etc/ati/amdpcsdb.default is marked as a conffile, but it should not be; it is not user-serviceable. I noticed this when I had a reinstall after a manual uninstallation round, and dpkg thought that since I had rm-ed the file, that was a conscious user action, and it'd better put it in /etc/ati/amdpcsdb.default.dpkg-old instead. This broke the driver. -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.3 APT prefers stable APT policy: (750, 'stable'), (500, 'proposed-updates') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.4.0 (SMP w/40 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_DK.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_DK.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system)
