Xwrits upstream is currently at version 2.26. The changelog shows an additional freedesktop.org-related bugfix over the aforementioned 2.24.
I'd like to request an updated package as well. Xwrits continues to be a valuable program to help drive typing/sitting breaks, not least because more "modern" alternatives like Workrave and GNOME DrWright tend to be heavyweight, buggy, and/or desktop-specific.
