I did, no response to that yet. Good news however, it seems that there is already action ongoing upstream to migrate from webkit to webkit2. Someone claims¹ that with the webkit2 branch of upstream, the issue is fixed. A maintainer note from me though, upstream is already working for more than a year on a new branch (1.11 i.s.o 1.10) with already multiple releases, but upstream doesn't consider it stable yet (intention around October 2015 was LAST Christmas).
