Package: autoconf Severity: wishlist File: /usr/bin/autoscan User: [email protected] Usertags: new-check Control: affects -1 + check-all-the-things
I would like to have an option for autoscan that doesn't create autoscan.log, configure.scan and autom4te.cache/ in the current directory but instead uses temporary files in the temporary dir and deletes those files when autoscan has finished. This is needed to non-destructively report that configure.ac needs updating. The context is that I'm working on a tool to check all of the files in a source package and I would like to check the autotools parts too. https://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/collab-maint/check-all-the-things.git -- bye, pabs https://wiki.debian.org/PaulWise
