Hi, my intention was to fix this bug with the next regular release of debian-games which happens approximately every three months. Under normal circumstances recommended packages won't block transitions and apt will simply ignore unavailable recommendations. If you want to change recommendations in blend packages, you have to edit the task files, in this case c++-dev, then run "make dist", otherwise the change won't be permanent. I have incorporated this change in Git now. Regards, Markus
