Hi all, I would like to suggest that the source code of all version of xscreensaver to be forked and maintained in Alioth. The software name should be change also. Maybe debian-screensaver is a good choice of name.
All email address or URL of upstream should be removed from the forked source code. Only the name of the upstream should be maintained to show the origin of the code. >From the forked code, Debian should be free to patch out all the line causing the issues in this bug report. Upstream should not have any interest on the forked code as he is not the one that are going to maintain or responding to bug report. Thanks. -- Sharuzzaman Ahmat Raslan
