Package: linux-image-2.6.14-2-686
Version: 2.6.14-7
Severity: normal

When I purge this package by ether aptitude purge or dpkg -P directly,
the process will stall without any prompt. The output of this
removing process is:

$ sudo dpkg -P linux-image-2.6.14-2-686
(Reading database ... 102412 files and directories currently installed.)

Found kernel: /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.15-1-686
Found kernel: /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.8-2-686

I have to use Ctrl-C to end this no-response process, and get a result:
dpkg: error processing linux-image-2.6.14-2-686 (--purge):
 subprocess post-removal script killed by signal (Interrupt)
Errors were encountered while processing:

Since I'm using linux-image-2.6.15-1-686, I would like to purge this
unused package.

Thank you.
