Hi
kdenlive seems to build fine with multiple build jobs when building. Thus, my suggestion is to enable the parallel build (with the --parallel option of dh) to speed up the compilation when requested (see also Policy §4.9.1). Thanks,
I have tested it on my amd64 box and I could not see any benefit with it: Default parameter / First run: real 12m5.508s user 8m29.784s sys 1m5.568s Default parameter / second run: real 11m56.598s user 8m22.168s sys 1m3.376s Parallel parameter / first run: real 11m53.578s user 8m19.192s sys 1m2.796s Parallel parameter / second run: real 12m5.903s user 8m28.480s sys 1m3.552s I do not see any positive changes on speeding up the build process with it. -- /* Mit freundlichem Gruß / With kind regards, Patrick Matthäi GNU/Linux Debian Developer Blog: http://www.linux-dev.org/ E-Mail: [email protected] [email protected] */
