Thank you Gianfranco for investigating on this. I can't complain about the other files, which I think are good but cc_config.xml (the one I am interested to) should probably be reconsidered. I use to modify the file via scripts but I also have to point out that recently the boinc manager gained the function to modify log flags and add exclusive apps. Both this configurations are stored in the cc_config. The "strange" thing is that, for what I have seen, the manager is able to write the file even if it is 644 so I don't see the reason why I can't modifiy it manually :)
