Hi,

Upstream has answered, see below.

cheers,

This appears to occur because I use Qt's intrinsic QPrinter
object to create a PostScript file, then convert it to EPS
using ps2epsi. QPrinter outputs black and white by
default, but can be set to output color, so I will change
it to produce color EPS output by default.

Thanks for forwarding this bug to me. I would appreciate
it if you could update the Debian bug tracker accordingly
-- the fix will be in CVS soon, and will be officially
released as part of v1.9.3.
