Please re-open the archived bug #788038, and consider downgrading the inclusion of the additional pacakges from 'recommends' to 'suggests'. The discussion already on file for the archived bug #788038 adequately covers the issues. I join the prior posters in not feeling a stand-alone e-mail client should be pre-bundled with a calendar, and not with google calendar.
