We support each stable release for multiple years anyway.  As such, I'm
inclined to disable this message altogether.  In the long term, I should
take another look at packaging the C++ Toolkit, which includes (among
many other things) a replacement app named table2asn.  Meanwhile, I've
been contemplating updating to an unofficial snapshot of ncbi-tools6.
