Package: aboot Version: 1.0~pre20040408-4 Dear maintainer:
A simple "dpkg-buildpackage" does not generate "aboot-base.deb" (on my computer, which is amd64). Apparently this package, even if it's Arch: all, may only be generated on the alpha architecture. If this is the case, the packaging should be a little bit more explicit about this little detail. For example: * We could have a debian/README.source explaining this. * We could have debian/rules to fail with an error message if we try to generate aboot-base on an architecture on which it may not be generated. Does this make sense?
