After looking into this further, I noticed that the build failure happened after the switch from webkit to webkit2. The gtk-doc scanner is linked against libwebkit2gtk-4.0, and this is where it segfaults if DISPLAY is unset. What I did is the following, build the package with unset DISPLAY, then run gdb docs/libyelp/.libs/lt-libyelp-scan The resulting backtrace is attached. Berto, Gustavo, any ideas?
