As I said, this bug [1] has indeed been fixed in package ruby-gettext,
after the release of jessie.

I don't think that the severity of this bug is high enough to justify
an update in a stable point release, but anyway, even assuming it is,
the issue is *not* in apt-listbugs.
I am *not* the one who needs to be convinced.
The bug [1] is in package ruby-gettext: if you feel like it, please try
and persuade ruby-gettext Debian package maintainers to prepare an
updated package for jessie with this bug fixed...
