While I agree that we should avoid calling rpm, I believe we would be better of by doing it in a way that could get accepted upstream. Any idea how to modify the patch to work also on rpm based systems? Perhaps look for /etc/debian_version and only use rpm if it is missing? Other ideas? -- Happy hacking Petter Reinholdtsen
