default configuration is unchanged.
works fine if my network interfaces are eth0 and eth1
For anything of: eth4/eth5, net0/net1, eth10/eth11 dnsmasq fails with:
"dnsmasq: failed to find list of interfaces: No such device"
Changing the configuration to explicitely specify interface names does
not help.
How are you renaming the interfaces? Are you renaming the physical
interface, or the tag associated with a particular address?
It's not obvious to me what is going on here. Please could you supply as
much of the following information as possible?
Output of "ip addr" and "ifconfig" for working and broken configurations.
The commands you issue to get from the working to the broken config.
Stop dnsmasq, then capture the output of "strace /usr/sbin/dnsmasq -d"
(and feel free to get back to me if you're not sure how to do any of the
above.)
Cheers,
Simon.
