Package: fonts-cantarell Version: 0.0.21-1 Followup-For: Bug #822762 As far as I know gnome uses the cantarell font as default. However some characters have zero width (e.g. "ΓΌ"), which leads to a non-readable gnome interface/popups/etc with the default font.
There is a new version of fonts-cantarell available, would it be possible to package it, as the new version should fix this issue. -- Package-specific info: Desired=Unknown/Install/Remove/Purge/Hold | Status=Not/Inst/Conf-files/Unpacked/halF-conf/Half-inst/trig-aWait/Trig-pend |/ Err?=(none)/Reinst-required (Status,Err: uppercase=bad) ||/ Name Version Architecture Description +++-==================-============-============-===================================================== ii fontconfig 2.11.0-6.4 amd64 generic font configuration library - support binaries ii libfreetype6:amd64 2.6.3-3+b1 amd64 FreeType 2 font engine, shared library files ii libfreetype6:i386 2.6.3-3+b1 i386 FreeType 2 font engine, shared library files ii libxft2:amd64 2.3.2-1 amd64 FreeType-based font drawing library for X -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.2.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.utf8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages fonts-cantarell depends on: ii fontconfig 2.11.0-6.4 fonts-cantarell recommends no packages. fonts-cantarell suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
