So it can't execute pmount I guess? pmount is installed, and /usr/bin/pmount and /usr/bin/pmount-hal are both there. Not sure what the problem is. Also, though importing photos works fine, there was an error message with the camera, so I'll just post the (short output) just in case:

Easiest way to get a log out of gnome-volume-manager it manually from a
terminal. If you alrealy have one running, you will need to kill that first..
This should help in pinpointing your problem somewhat better :)
