Hello Osamu, Thanks for the bug report and the notification that the SVN repo is actually being updated, I must confess that I had not noticed. As you've observed, there's really not much that needs to be done to this package, although of course I should take a look at some of the old tickets against it.
I welcome careful NMUs, but please do not try to hijack the package. I will try to make some time to look at it, but as I say, you're welcome to help out with NMUs.
