Hello Henrique, I'd like to push forward on this issue as it v2 is already quite out of date and is stopping many people from using their HWRNG in modern processors when they'd want to.
I'm willing to put some footwork into this to merge any debian-specific changes with upstream, but I'm having difficulties finding a comprehensive list of changes. Can you also point me to the VCS you are using to maintain rng-tools? I might then be able to locate the non-upstream patches. It might also make sense to check which of those patches are worth pushing upstream, and which might make sense to drop and document in NEWS. Looking forward to work on this! Regards, Lee
