Dear schroot maintainers, Please consider uploading a version of schroot that includes support for unsharing the network namespace to Debian's experimental repository. schroot's upstream author has indicated in #802849 that this new feature just needs testing before it can be merged. Having it in Debian experimental would facilitate this testing.
It would be great to help upstream get this feature released, because it would allow sbuild to disable network access when running dpkg-buildpackage, which would make it easier to confirm that packages comply with policy 4.9. See #802850. Thank you for your time. -- Sean Whitton
