Hello,I encountered this situation, and I it turned I indeed had grub installed on my two harddrives but the Debian package was only configured to install on one of them. So the easy solution was to boot on the other harddrive (using BIOS boot menu), and then reconfigure grub-pc to install grub on both disks : dpkg-reconfigure grub-pc.
