In fact we have a ppc64el patch for luajit port, but the upstream maintainer does not commit or even comment about our patches, so, it does get accepted. https://github.com/LuaJIT/LuaJIT/pull/54 We also asked the Debian luajit maintainer (Enrico) to get the patch accepted in Debian, until we have any position on upstream. https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=814255
