Package: openvpn Followup-For: Bug #797877 Dear Maintainer,
'/etc/init.d/openvpn stop' no longer causes a prompt for passwords so this can be considered fixed. I have no idea what fixed this though (the openvpn package changelog does not mention anything that feels related). -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.5.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages openvpn depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.59 ii init-system-helpers 1.33 ii initscripts 2.88dsf-59.4 ii iproute2 4.3.0-1+b1 ii libc6 2.22-7 ii liblzo2-2 2.08-1.2 ii libpam0g 1.1.8-3.2 ii libpkcs11-helper1 1.11-5 ii libssl1.0.2 1.0.2h-1 ii libsystemd0 229-5 Versions of packages openvpn recommends: ii easy-rsa 2.2.2-2 Versions of packages openvpn suggests: ii openssl 1.0.2h-1 pn resolvconf <none> -- Configuration Files: /etc/network/if-down.d/openvpn changed [not included] -- debconf information: openvpn/change_init: false openvpn/vulnerable_prng: openvpn/default_port: openvpn/change_init2: false openvpn/stop2upgrade: false openvpn/create_tun: false
