Well, the easy fix would be as follows: * Copy everything in binary-arch. * Paste it in binary-indep. (I usually omit dh_testdir and dh_testroot to make debian/rules smaller because they do not do anything which is not already done by dpkg-buildpackage). * Add -i to every dh_* call in binary-indep. * Add -a to every dh_* call in binary-arch. This usually works, and if it does not, it should be easy to fix. Thanks.
