I looked at the commits of the new upstream releases I uploaded and the one that seems the most likely culprit is this one: https://github.com/linuxmint/cinnamon-session/commit/9cfd05b41f2c05171f6953b91165a56cb5cb7474 They added a new PreDisplayServer phase to the session which is the one used by gnome-keyring: https://mail.gnome.org/archives/commits-list/2015-November/msg03206.html However, even if the gnome-keyring version in unstable was lower than the one with the change, I don't see how adding the extra phase would make it fail :-/ Do you have anything relevant in .xsession-errors? -- Regards, Marga
