It seems that the most common use cases can be handled relatively easily by maintaining puppetdb-termini in stretch-backports in addition to Stretch itself, so Debian stable users at least can choose between using a PuppetDB corresponding to the version of Puppet shipped in Stretch, or or a more up-to-date one. > Apart from that, it does not look very hard at all to build only the > puppetdb-termini from the puppetdb source.
