Sorry, just realized that the sent information was not complete
So i'm using debian testing with newest updates installed with icedove 45.1.0 I copied a file named "test.js" to /etc/icedove/pref/" in order to lockout some features for the normal user,i found out that icedove is taking into account the "pref" statement but not the "lockPref" statement
