git-remote-gcrypt 0.20130908-8 contains most of the fixes on Joey's branch. Would it be useful for you if I proposed that version for jessie-backports? There are some fixes on Joey's branch that I have not yet incorporated into the Debian version, and there are some other patches floating around that I want to integrate. Joey has indicated that he doesn't want to be the de facto upstream for git-remote-gcrypt, so I had planned to take over myself and make a 1.0.0 release. Now that someone has expressed an interest in this package, I'll bump that up my todo list. -- Sean Whitton
