Are you … sure? You haven't mentioned anything about your connection, so
its a wild guess of course, but you are connecting to many different
servers and they all seem to be wrong. So its either apt and I have to
question why they all trigger a bug in apt [which isn't triggered for
other users as its the first report…] or it is apt actually talking to
the very same machine thanks to a proxy, DNS manipulation (webportal), …


I'm sure. It is at home. Its my own debian install. Behind and ADSL gateway with no proxy (that I happen to know very well because I work for the company that makes it).
