Today I discovered many servers with cpqarrayd eating up very much RAM. I can, of course, use a cron job to restart the daemon, but it seems to be a memory leak. Problem found on systems (others may have too): - HP Proliant DL-360 G3 & G4 - with Smart Array 5i, Smart Array 6i Running kernels: - 2.6.8, 2.6.9 Description: - cpqarrayd eats up more and more mem, top shows: USER PID %CPU %MEM VSZ RSS TTY STAT START COMMAND 1. root 22410 0.0 23.2 634580 240612 ?
