Package: gnome-boxes Version: 3.20.2-2 Since a recent update I cannot start my virtual machines (all of them).
After some time gnome-boxes send a message "Failed to start...". In the syslog I have: libvirtd[11010]: Failed to connect socket to '/run/user/1000/libvirt/virtlogd-sock': No such file or directory libvirtd[11010]: Failed to connect socket to '/run/user/1000/libvirt/virtlogd-sock': No such file or directory org.gnome.Boxes[4789]: (gnome-boxes:10925): Boxes-WARNING **: machine.vala:606: Failed to start debian-live-8: Unable to start domain: Failed to connect socket to '/run/user/1000/libvirt/virtlogd-sock': No such file or directory libvirtd[3571]: libvirt version: 2.0.0, package: 1 (Guido Günther <[email protected]> Fri, 01 Jul 2016 17:54:01 +0200) I did not find a report on Debian for this issue. But I have found this issue reported here: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1351995 It seems that libaudit1 should be upgraded to 2.6.2 (currently 2.6.1 on Debian/sid). So maybe this is just about upgrading this package after all. Let me know if more information is needed.
