they are the two suspicious postfix packages: postfix and postfix-pcre
since in the first run, I did not document it.

I could reproduce this until I stopped postfix with
'/etc/init.d/postfix stop' manually, and re-run the 'apt-get -f
install' approach. Then, the installation succeeded.

However, trying to re-start postfix, I found another problem that might be
related:

  komsys-pc-ruf:~!52> sudo postfix stop

no message.

  komsys-pc-ruf:~!53> sudo postfix start
  /etc/postfix/postfix-script: line 211: /usr/sbin/postfix-script: No such file
or directory

  komsys-pc-ruf:~!54> sudo /etc/init.d/postfix start
Starting Postfix Mail Transport Agent: postfixpostfix/postfix-script: fatal:
the Postfix mail system is already running
   failed!

  komsys-pc-ruf:~!55> sudo /etc/init.d/postfix stop
Stopping Postfix Mail Transport Agent: postfix.

  komsys-pc-ruf:~!56> sudo /etc/init.d/postfix start
Starting Postfix Mail Transport Agent: postfix.

  komsys-pc-ruf:~!57> date
  Wed Jan 18 21:13:38 CET 2006

Any idea what could be the problem there?

TIA.
