To my understanding the 'Meetings' folder in vCalendar is the equivalent
to the 'Inbox' folder in other account types, where the meetings you
create are saved, and like inboxes cannot be deleted, it cannot be
unsubscribed.

I think hidding the folder would be equally helpful to you and less
disruptive to implement than folder deletion, so I've changed the bug
accordingly and forwarded this request upstream.
