the init-select package has a dependency on "sysvinit". In Jesse, the "sysvinit" package has been turned into a transitional package to pull in the new "init" meta-package. Now that Jessie has been released, the sysvinit package has served its purpose and we want to remove it. I would therefor ask you to remove the dependency on sysvinit. If you are looking for the package shipping the actual /sbin/init binary, you need "sysvinit-core" instead.
