Upstream recently stated [0] that “Zend Framework 1 reaches its End of Life (EOL) […] on 28 September 2016.” 0: https://framework.zend.com/blog/2016-06-28-zf1-eol.html Therefore, we should not release it with Stretch (and we’ll do our best to support it during Jessie lifetime). Reverse dependencies already had an important bug report about zendframework removal for Stretch a while ago. Regards David
