Package: ftp.debian.org Severity: normal The binary powerpc-utils has switched from being an important package containing binaries, to an important metapackage that depends on the right binary packages for the target platform (powerpc-ibm-utils, pmac-utils, or both).
Setting the section to metapackages provides better behaviour both for the upgrade and for initial installation to render "stickiness" to the actual binary packages it depends on. (This is already correct in debian/control, it just needs the override mangled to match). ... Adam
