As far as I see, it's probably last release at all. It looks like pylucene
is deprecated and nobody cares about it

It looks like pylucene is not used as dependency by any package. Also it's
pretty hard to find some other software that depends on pylucene (except
ReviewBoard that is another story)
 
Plus package contains tons of hacks that produces a lot of lintian warnings,
source package contains embedded copy (outdated) of java lucene.

Do you use it somehow? Or do you have any plans to use it? I'm considering
whether to package latest pylucene or just orphan it.
