libmicrohttpd currently cannot be built on hurd-i386 since socat is not available on that platform. The respective changelog entry suggests that this may be optional (Build-depend on ..., socat and ... to enable more tests.). If that is actually the case, please restrict this build-dependency to [!hurd-i386]. Otherwise please request removal of the outdated binary packages (including all the rdeps) on hurd-i386. Andreas
